Visiting Iva Natura HQ + VLOG#2: Izmir, Turkey

As you read on my previous blogpost, I was recently on a trip to Europe, where I visited different certified organic brands. I promised I would write about each country and my experiences so here goes!

First Stop: TURKEY.

I’ve always wanted to explore Turkey. I can’t count how many times I have had a layover in Istanbul–actually, I have funny stories about my layovers in the TAV Istanbul Ataturk airport, but maybe I can save that for next time :p I was so excited to visit Izmir, a city on the west of Turkey, on the Aegean coast.

Used my drone for the first time!

In this trip, we visited a brand called Iva Natura, which is a Certified Organic Cosmetics brand. I have been using this brand for a while now, especially their hair and body products. As always, these products are 100% free from chemicals such as Parabens, Cocamide DEA, MEA, PEG, SLS, SLES, Silicon, Urea and others. They also have a very high percentage of natural ingredients, usually around 99%. My favorite thing about their brand is that they get their ingredients from all over Turkey–e.g. Mineral Water from Lake Van, Licorice from Mount Agri, Blueberry from Ayder, Green Tea from Rize Ayder, and many more.

I also enjoyed meeting their team, they are all very lovely people. From this trip, I realized that Turkish hospitality means that they will not allow you to not have a drink–so they will constantly give you Turkish coffee and tea! :p So sweet but I think I’ve never drunk this much caffeine in my life before, haha.

All in all, I really enjoyed my trip there and I would like to explore more of Turkey! It’s a huge country, and they have a looot of natural resources (hence, a lot of natural ingredients!) and I would love to come back and see them.

Here’s a short vlog of my trip! Hope you enjoy. 🙂

The Turkish coffee and tea look delicious (and I believe they taste delicious too)! And cool drone shots! The Iva Natura team members look so joyful too and passionate in their work! 🙂
